Antardrishti took its message of social inclusion to an all new level, when a 7-day Ram Katha was organized by the beneficiaries of the project at Ajmal Khan Park, Karol Bagh in New Delhi. The differently-abled disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, who have been blessed with the Divine Knowledge of Brahm Gyan, took part in this epoch program from 19th to 25th May 2012 which set the stage for social inclusion at an altogether different level.

The entire program of the Katha was conducted by visually disabled members of the Antardrishti Team, who have taken time out from their activities in production at the factory to organize this unique katha. The stage is donned by an 11 member team, all visually blind who conduct the music orchestra of the seven day katha, which was also telecast on Astha Channel the following day.

The Katha orator, Sadhvi Shashi Bharti Ji, daughter disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, shared her life story with the audience of the Katha who listened intently with awe. She shared that she was not blind by birth, and that at the time when she finished her studies and was applying for a job, she lost vision in both eyes. Despite medical treatment, the vision could not be restored. She expressed the traumatic experience for a human being who can see the world around him, and is suddenly unable to see with no hope for the future, against the outlook of a person who has been blind from birth and has never experienced vision. She detailed about how dejected she had been after the loss of vision, that she had lost the will to live – at which point the message of Brahm Gyan was delivered to her, and she chose to become a disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. With His grace, she shared, she had experienced the revelation and vision of divinity within herself, after the opening of the divine eye by the perfect master. After that she decided to dedicate her life to the service of mankind, and spread the message of awakening to others, including those who can see normally.

With revived energy and a penchant to spread the message, she experienced the realities from the life of Lord Ram within herself, using the technique of meditation through Brahm Gyan. Those experiences she shared to an audience of more than 30,000 people on a daily basis at this unique katha program over 7 days.

Truly speaking, the beneficiaries of the Antardrishti project are today not only leading transformed lives themselves as part of mainstream society, but they are also able to use their energy in order to take a message of positivity and how to lead one’s life to others who are apparently more fortunate themselves.
